For all Pillsbury Doughboy Lovers - LOOK WHAT I CAME ACROSS :)

Pillsbury Doughboy is an adorable character and has been a part of our kitchen for 47 years and still going.  The Doughboy is an Icon, that brings a smile to my face.  I remember growing up watching T.V. and suddenly a Pillsbury commercial would come on and there he was, The Pillsbury Doughboy.  I always enjoyed watching commercials of the Doughboy (these are part of my childhood memories that I actually do cherish, as weird as that may sound).
Here is one of their first commercials from 1965

This one is from 1971

And with Christmas Just around the Corner here is one For the Holidays

Speaking of Christmas, if you have a loved one or a friend who collects Pillsbury Doughboy products, I came across these adorable items from Amazon.  My favorite one is The coffee canister.  I plan on getting me one.

The other day, I was watching different commercials online (ya know to go back into time) and one of them was from Pillsbury Doughboy; well when my son (who is 9 years old and Autistic) saw it he was in awe and exclaimed, "Oh mom, look at that big talking marshmallow."  Put a smile on my face.  I of course explained to him who he was afterwards.    Now, I am creating my sons childhood memories as well by spending family time with him and baking cookies, rolls, and bread from Pillsbury.  What a way to bring the family together :).  I hope that everyone has a wonderful Holiday.  God Bless :).

*I am not getting paid from Pillsbury Doughboy to write this review.  Just sharing memories and my opinions of them*

The cool thing about this, is I got all of this for free.  I paid nothing at all for this, not even the shipping and handling.  Now that is an awesome deal, if-I-do-say-so-myself :).  Now, if you want the same deal, all you have to do is go and open up an account on Listia.  I will provide a link to their site.  If you click on the link that I provided, I will get credits for referring a friend.  If you do not wish to click on the link that I provided then you can enter Listia.com on your browser and it will take you there as well.  When you open up an account, you will get 500 credits for free.  Credits are used to bid on the lot that you are interested in.  There are several ways that you are able to earn credits.  Just a few (of the several ways) you can earn credits are by either answering surveys, referring your friends, or listing items up for auction.  To open up an account on Listia is free.  I really enjoy this site very much and I am sure you will too.  I hope you all have an awesome weekend.

COVERGIRL Blast Flipstick

Hello Everyone :).  I just wanted to share something with you guys.  This week, I went to Wal-Mart because I needed to buy ink (and well, it seems that every time that I leave Wal-Mart, I always tend to leave with extra things that I did not intend to buy).  Anyways, I went to the cosmetics department and I was browsing around to see what was new and I came across a lipstick that I fell in love with.  I absolutely love it.  It is by Covergirl and it is the Blast Flipstick.  The color that I have is called Flashy (which is like a mauve/wine color).

The way that I applied it, is I used the dark color first and then I applied the light color over it.  This is one way that I tried using it.  The other way that I applied it, was I applied the lighter color to the middle of my lips (both top and bottom) and then the darker color at the corners of my lips (both top and bottom) and then I blended them together.  It gives it a defined look as if you have fuller lips.  I simply love how it works together to create different looks.  If you do not want to apply both, you can either use them by itself as well.  What I love about the Blast Flipstick is how long it last.  When it is off your lips, it gives it this stained look (which later on in the day, instead of reapplying it all I did was add lipgloss or chapstick).  I do plan on getting the other colors in the near future.  (I am not in anyway being payed by Covergirl to do this review.  I am doing this review to express how I feel about the product on my own.  I really enjoyed using the flipstick and wanted to share this with you).

I'm a BzzAgent

Hello Friends :).

I have always been interested in receiving products that I could test, keep, and write an honest review about the product that I tested;  however, I did not know where to begin.  So, that is when I started to do some research of my own and I found exactly what I was looking for.  Upon my researching the internet for sites that allows for consumers to test products and write reviews about the product that he or she has tested, I walked right into BzzAgent.com (BzzAgent is awesome - I felt like a child in a candy store).  BzzAgent, in short, is a social marketing company where they introduce consumers to new and exciting products that can be tested and shared with families and friends.  When you test a product, you then do a review of the item either through word-of-mouth, facebook, blog, video, etc.  What is even more exciting, is you get to keep the product afterwards.  There is no catch to it, no sign up fees, no credit cards involved - it is totally free, fun, and a safe place to connect and get involved.  I have not received a campaign yet, but once I get a campaign, I will be doing my reviews on here, telling you about it along with my experience.  I have already introduced two of my friends and they were already invited to participate in the Cover Girl Campaign.  I am very excited for them and I can not wait to hear all about it.  I am not, in anyway, getting paid to write this review about BzzAgent.com at all.  I simply wanted to share this with everyone who is interested in the rewarding feeling of becoming an Agent; a BzzAgent, that is :).
Here is a small introduction video about BzzAgent, explaining what all the Bzz is about.

This one Video below is a review from a BzzAgent

Thanksgiving Inspired Makeup

Hello everyone!!  With Thanksgiving just around the corner family and friends will be gathering together feasting and sharing the love, thanks, and memories with one another; as well as creating new memories.  With all of the beautiful festive colors that is associated with Thanksgiving, I wanted to find a makeup tutorial that would compliment the holiday, and I found one.

This video tutorial was created by   She did an excellent tutorial and I absolutely love the colors that she applied and blended together, creating a Thanksgiving inspired look. I would love to attempt this look, but since I am a gal who loves glitter, I will be adding gold glitter to the look.

Tip: If you like using liquid or gel eyeliner, but you have ran out, I find that using your mascara as an eyeliner works just as well.  Just use your liner brush or a cut end of a Q-tip to apply.
Do It Yourself (DIY):  Make your own tinted lip balm - One of the things that I enjoy the most is making my own makeup.  I love lip balm and especially if it has a little tent to it.  What you will need is small empty canisters, petroleum jelly (Vaseline), sweetened to go Kool aide (your favorite flavor).  Mix these ingredients together (enough to fill a small empty lip gloss container).  There ya go.  *Remember, petroleum jelly is not edible.  So please do not ingest it*.
